REGGIO KIDS! EARLY YEARS CENTRE (EYC) PROGRAMS
This program offers year-round, full-day childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Enrolment in the EYC is assumed to be continuous throughout the calendar year unless the centre receives formal notification of withdrawal. We operate from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., although experts recommend that children spend a maximum of 9 hours per day in a childcare setting.
-
Infant Program: For children aged 9 months to 22 months. The daily rate is $10.00 per day.
-
Toddler Program: For children aged 22 months to 36 months. The daily rate is $10.00 per day.
-
Preschool Program: For children aged 36 months to 5 years old. This program consists of full-time spots only to ensure consistent care and operational stability. The daily rate is $10.00 per day.
REGGIO KIDS! PRE-K & JR. PRE-K (PART-TIME)
Our Pre-K and Junior Pre-K programs are term-based, running from September through to June. These programs align with the provincial Universal Pre-K term, and enrolment automatically concludes on the last Friday in June.
Families can choose between two part-time sessions:
-
Morning Session: 5 mornings per week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
-
Afternoon Session: 5 afternoons per week from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The province covers Universal Pre-K tuition for children who are 4 years old on or before December 31 and who attend 15 hours per week. For 3-year-old children not covered by universal funding, the rate is $5.00 per half day. To maintain our licensed capacity, we must pair part-time requests to fill a single seat; if a matching pair cannot be formed, the seat must remain full-time.
REGGIO KIDS! SUMMER CAMPS
Our summer camps provide seasonal care during the months of July and August. Unlike our term-based programs, summer programming is offered as full-time care only. We have transitioned to this model to maintain our licensed capacity and because administrative staffing is scaled to a minimum during the summer months. Families currently in our half-day programs who require summer childcare must formally apply for a summer camp spot, as their Pre-K enrolment ends in June.
